At the May 8, 2019 meeting, the Golden State Risk Management Authority (GSRMA) Board of Directors ratified the election results for the Fire and Special District Representative seats on the Board. The following are the results of the election:
Nominated Fire District: Comptche Community Services District Downieville Fire Protection District Ukiah Valley Fire District Williams Fire Protection District | Votes: 4 0 1 8 |
Nominated Special District: Artois Commyunity Services District Hamilton City Community Services District Lake Shastina Community Services District | Votes: 4 3 4 |
Williams Fire Protection District received 8 votes and will be filling the Fire Representative seat. Due to a tie between Artois Community Services District and Lake Shastina CSD, a random drawing was held at the Board Meeting and Artois Community Services District was selected. The term of these positions begins July 1, 2019 and runs through June 30, 2021.
